Bareside Lodging- Katoomba
Hi! I'll be visiting Blue Mountains in March . I'll be driving with 5 adults and 2 kids, a pretty large group. I'm wondering does anybody knows about this "Braeside Lodging" at Katoomba? I can't find any reviews on this lodging.

hey all I'm from WA but I'm interested in going to uni next year in NSW to study along the lines of forensic psychology or criminology. I was wondering if any of you know of a uni that specialise in those areas or just a uni you think is pretty spiffy? At the moment I'm looking between Terigal and Port Macquarie but open to other areas too. Thanks :)

need some help
hi everyone

i'm in sydney on a holiday and i'll be leaving for the US this friday. i was hoping someone could point me to a good club that plays pop/mainstream/top 40 music during the week. preferably gay but other clubs are fine too. i've already visited arq and stonewall. we had a good time but the dance music isn't really my taste. and if you have any other "must do" suggestions, that would be appreciated as well. thanks!

BBQ.
This is an odd question. I'm Australin but have lived in London for.. awhile. I am currently trying to organise a remote BBQ. That is I'm here in London organising a barbie in Melbourne for when I arrive back for a visit. So the question is....
Can panyone please confirm or deny the existence of public BBQ's on Alexandra Parade Near the Swan street bridge up stream or away from the city side of the bridge?
I can find a map from 1999 telling me there are ones there and I rememeber them from my rowing days but I would like to know if they are there now.

Thanks for your help.

Restock
My name is Kari or Oni depending on the person you ask. I'm currently living in Ann Arbor Michigan in the US. I'm leaving in Feb for three years at the University of Western Sydney. That's the easy part here comes the more "interesting" part.

I have what is called Celliac Spru Disease......for those that just went Huh? let me translate....I'm allergic to Gluten...otherwise known as anything in wheat, barley, oats....ect. I CAN have corn and rice products though. So here's my first question. Are there any sort of organic or health food store chains in Sydney that I can shop at?

The second question is easy. I'm buying most of my things while I'm there because carting it internationaly seems too annoying. So I will need bedding. Does anyone know of any good stores to get bedding at?

And finally. I'm from a cold part of the US. I know that the winters there are much different but how much so? The Weather Channel site gives me numbers but I want opinions.

Deakin Vs. LaTrobe
Hi There! My name is Alana and I currently live in Canada. I've just finished my undergrad and I've actually recently applied to Teachers College in Australia. Now I'm trying to decide between 2 in Melbourne Victoria, Deakin and LaTrobe. I have to have my decision in the next few days so if anyone has any ideas at all it would really help me out; I've been very torn.
If I go to LaTrobe I would be in the Bundoora Campus and if I go to Deakin I would be in Burwood. Which campus is prettier? Which school is better? And where would I get a better Australian experience? I've been doing so much research and asking around here but these are the kinds of things that are very hard to get a hold of when you don't have first of or second hand access.

Please, any comments or suggestions are welcome no matter how minor; I just need somewhat of a deciding factor.

I'm so excited to have found this community! Thanks a lot everyone!!!

Hi. I'm a 30 year old Californian with dual citizenship(America/Australia). I have five years of experience as a transcriptionist for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, and three years experience in Dry Cleaning. I also have some retail, food prep, and gas station work on my resume. Are there any jobs in the Perth area for a guy like me?
